Paiprd is practice-management software for law firms. A firm licenses Paiprd and uses it to manage its matters, generate documents, and search its own files. This policy explains what Paiprd does with the information it holds.
Paiprd uses Sign in with Google to identify staff. It requests two pieces of information and nothing else:

Paiprd does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or Contacts. Where a firm chooses to enable document search across its own shared drives, Paiprd reads those drives through a dedicated service account that the firm grants read-only access to — not through any individual's Google account. Signing in to Paiprd gives it no access whatsoever to your personal Google data.
Google user data obtained through Sign in with Google is used only to authenticate and identify you within the application. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not transferred to third parties except the infrastructure providers listed below, and not used to develop, improve, or train any generalized artificial-intelligence model.
Firm staff enter matter information — property addresses, party names and addresses, transaction terms, tasks, time entries, and invoices — and generate documents from it. Paiprd stores this so the firm can do its work. The categories are determined by the firm, not by Paiprd.
Paiprd runs on infrastructure operated by the providers below. Each is bound by its own agreement to process data only as instructed.

Several Paiprd features send document text to an AI provider — reviewing an agreement against a firm's playbook, extracting fields from an uploaded term sheet, adapting a precedent. This happens only when a member of staff asks for it.
Content sent to these providers is processed under commercial terms that prohibit its use for training their models, and it is not retained by them for that purpose. AI output is a draft for a lawyer to review; Paiprd does not present it as legal advice and no feature acts on a matter without a person deciding to.
No system is perfectly secure, and Paiprd does not claim otherwise.
Matter records are retained for as long as the firm keeps them — law firms have their own retention obligations, and Paiprd defaults to preserving files rather than removing them. A file deleted by a firm administrator is recoverable for 30 days before it is purged. Sign-in records are kept while the account is active.
You can revoke Paiprd's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; you will then be unable to sign in. For access to, correction of, or deletion of information held about you, contact your firm — it controls those records. If you are not sure who to ask, write to us and we will direct you.
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change and firms using Paiprd will be told.
